The unique design features a safe solid running surface: no wire mesh for little feet to get caught in.
- Rodents are naturally attracted to the wheel's entry holes—which also offer a really nifty effect when watching them run. The semi-enclosed design and the solid rear wall also makes rodents, who are natural “wall-huggers,” feel much safer as they run.
- The axle of the support stand goes through the solid rear wall, which means there are no dangerous pinch areas anywhere.
- The wheel is constructed using recycled and recyclable plastics while the base is made of heavy-gauge powder-coated steel.
